Ok, so you know that I'm a member at Ravelry and part of the fingerless glove group. What you may not know is that Ravelry is having it's own olymics to go along with the games held in China. Being the team player that I am, I have decided to join Team FGF and make a pair of fingerless gloves. Hopefully I will complete my pair of Eden mitts in the 16 days allowed. They are very beautiful fingerless gloves designed by Wendy Ganiggle. It's only her second design and she's done a beautiful job with them. I'm anxiously waiting to start work on them with the hopes that my knitting skills are good enough to do them credit.Wednesday, August 6, 2008
Ravelympics 2008

You go MaryAnn... just think it wasn't that long ago you were basically only crocheting and now look at you you are in the Ravelolympics competing. AWESOME
Way to go - I'll be cheering you on - You will note I didn't join any of the olympic teams this year - I'm too busy learning to crochet ;) Of course since I am teaching myself I could be doing it all wrong hehehe
I cannot wait to see your progress. I'm doing the sock put and some ufo-forgothenameofit.
That is a great pair of mitts....what color are you doing them in?
