Ravelympics

As I think I've mentioned, I have joined the Ravelympics. I was only going to join one team, but ended up on two because I wanted to destash and have something to do while I was at my craft club. This is what I made for Team Stashdown:

I'm now working on a pair of beautiful fingerless gloves designed by my friend Wendy Ganiggle. They are called Eden and I'm making them in Essentials yarn from Knit Picks in the Cocoa color. Ravelympics 2008

Ok, so you know that I'm a member at Ravelry and part of the fingerless glove group. What you may not know is that Ravelry is having it's own olymics to go along with the games held in China. Being the team player that I am, I have decided to join Team FGF and make a pair of fingerless gloves. Hopefully I will complete my pair of Eden mitts in the 16 days allowed. They are very beautiful fingerless gloves designed by Wendy Ganiggle. It's only her second design and she's done a beautiful job with them. I'm anxiously waiting to start work on them with the hopes that my knitting skills are good enough to do them credit.
